Dahlia blooms series

This ‘bloom’ series celebrates the sculptural and vibrant colour qualities of these ‘old fashioned’ flowers.

These tremendous flowers ignite nostalgic feelings for many. As a girl my Nanna grew dahlias throughout her garden, particularly around her vegetable garden for practical pollination reasons. I grow many varieties of dahlias in my own garden now (including around the veggie patch!) and am reminded of my Nanna every time I pick them.
